NROTC Marine option essay why do you want to become a Marine Officer? limited to 2500 characters?

Just my thoughts!!! I was in the corps for four years. To me your paper is real good until the last two paragraphs. In paragraph 3 you say what you will do, not really why you want to be a Marine officer. In your last paragraph you want to " join a branch of the military service." Marines are not just a branch of the service to a Marine that is. If you really want to be an officer of men who are the proudest and most feared warriors in the world, maybe you should talk to some more Marines. Marines are a different breed THE FEW, THE PROUD JUST A FEW GOOD MEN Semper Fi these arent just sayings and logos. Leading these kind of men takes a special man. Look inside yourself the real reason you want to be a Marine is in there, I think just have found it yet. But I think its in you. Good Luck Semper Fi Sir.
