Fleas are eating me alive?

I need help. One night I laid down with my indoor cat. He stays in my room and never leaves it. And by the next night I kept feeling something on my face pinching. I turned on the light to see a flea on my hand. In 2 days I wasn't able to sleep from fleas jumping all over. I bathed my cat with a all natural flea bath because I was told it was the best flea dip. In addition I bought advantage from the vet and gave him a dose. How do I get the fleas killed. I only want to know stuff that's tried and worked. Not something you think would work. My last roommates (before I owned the cat) had fleas so bad from their outdoor dog that flea bombing the entire house twice didn't kill them and I ended up having to move from getting sick from flea bombs. Help me please

How far would you travel for an interiew?

How far would you travel for an interiew and what things would you consider in making that decision? i live in Clinton Township, Mi and have an interview in Grand Rapids(3 hours away) thursday. Difference between jumping on grass and in a school?

It's much the same. I think he would be fine to jump on grass for the first time at the show- you probably won't notice the difference. Only it can get slippy, so if it's raining (which it always seems to be whenever I go to a show!!) just go steady. Being barefoot will actually help to stop him slipping so don't worry about him needing shoes :)

My Mother-in-laws house always smells like...?

Mother-in-laws are fickle creatures. I suggest you talk to her about it, but approach it gently and make sure to tell her that you're not trying to criticize her housekeeping. She probably doesn't smell it because she's at home all the time so maybe that's why she ignored it when someone else brought it up to her. Tell her you would visit more often if the smell wasn't so overwhelming. If she likes you then she might do something to fix it.

my gf had one of her cats killed. Her family moved in with her 2 months ago.. they dont like me... but they also dont like the cats, so they basically either force the cats to be either outside or in her room. This cat was not used to being outside, and so he got hit by a car. NO SURPIRSE THERE.... For the two years that i have dated this woman i have made sure that the cats are always indoor, specifically because of this. But now i am not even sure i am even welcomed in that house, as her family moving in has changed the dynamic of the situation.. they don't like the fact i am agnostic, they are all evangelicals. So when my gf texts em that her cat got killed, I said i was very sorry .. but when she told me how.. I FLEW OFF THE HANDLE..... specifically because i LOVED this cat.. he was an amazing cat with awesome personality, and was only 5 years old... I basically said.. why couldn't it have been one of the other cats...... on i didn't like so much, ...... she then flipped out... and said to leave her alone...!! this was all over text... ..... .. DOES SHE NOT UNDERSTAND THAT HER FAMILY is partially responsible for this cat being dead... they didint even have the guts to tell her face to face.. they just called her..!!!! And now she has the gaul to be mad at me!!!

What should I do about my neighbor?

I have lived (with my wife) in our 2nd story apartment for almost 6 years. in the past couple years our property went smoke free so I decided to quit and I am still not smoking. About 2 months ago a lady rented the studio apartment below ours that the rest had been converted into the managers office. Out of no where we start getting talked to by the manager about her complaints of us smoking in our apartment. My wife smokes ONLY when out at bars and social events where others are smoking but never at our apartment. So because the property manager and assistant manager are both friends of ours, they no we are not smoking and that this lady is a little off her rocker. about a month ago we started hearing very loud bangs that sometimes shook our apartment that come from the studio below. On 6/15 there is a letter on our door typed from our neighbor telling us that our smoking in the apartment is causing her health issues and is upsetting her dogs hyperthyroid issue. I wrote her a very professional letter back stating that A. We do not smoke. B. we have 2 indoor cats that we would NEVER make them suffer from second hand smoke. C. that we both live right on a busy road and maybe she is smelling the car exhaust. and D. smoke rises. the last thing I wrote was the times and dates of some previous banging noises and asked that they stop. about 2 days later we had another letter from her stating that she is definatly smelling our cigarette smoke and that the banging is happening when she smells us smoking. SO, I have talked to the property manager, she is fed up with the psycho, I have emailed HER boss twice with no response. I can't catch the banging on camera because it is at the most random times. I don't want to get the police involved only because having been raised by a cop I know they have better **** to do with their time than knock on doors and smell for cigarettes. Even if I do call them she will probably make up some B S story about how it is all in our heads and we smoke (Crazy people can make up some really believable stories when they need to, I dated a few...) (j/k) Does anyone have similar experiences, how did you deal with it, or does anybody have any suggestions on how I should move forward? Thank you for you reading!

Why do I just care about her happiness more than mine?

Okay so a little background information: My friend went out with a girl for like 3 months or so. During this time I became very close with who he was going out, and we became good friends. I became her outlet for relationship problems, and I was kind of "in the relationship" it seemed because at one time I was on Facebook and BOTH of them were coming to me about what they should do. I kind of freaked out and let them know that I didn't direct their relationship. I shouldn't of freaked out, but it was just getting ridiculous! Anyways, we were all cool, because my freak out wasn't that bad. I just let them know. But I digress... I became her relationship advisor, which was cool because I had every chance to stand up for my friend. It got to the point where I knew that she was unhappy in her relationship a MONTH before she broke up with him. When she actually broke up with him I was at a water park and I left my phone in the room. When I got back I had a text from him, a text from another one of my friends, and a missed call from her. I excused myself to go in the hall so I could call her back. When she picked up it seemed like she was almost in tears, she had explained that her friends had pressured her into doing it. I comforted her, all the while I was confused. In the weeks that followed she relapsed and realized that she still loved him, and talked with him to explain that she just wanted a break. However, he moved on, while she still got teary eyed thinking about him. Throughout their relationship on my part I started realizing that I had feelings for her, do to the fact that we talked a ton and had a ton in common. She didn't feel the same, but she did say that my conversations with her were a lot more exciting than her conversations with my friend. Recently near the end of school we went on a grade wide trip to a water park. Both of her friends had guys they were hanging out with and she felt like she was a third wheel. That was the first half of her day, my first half was hanging out with my friends nonstop. However me and my friends moved to the indoor part where she was with her friends. It turns out my friends ditched me, her friends ditched her, and one of my friends was also there. So we formed a three person group and we hung out a lot for the next 2 hours. She constantly talked with me about wanting to have a boyfriend and how lonely she was. Before her friends actually ditched her we were all in the lazy river and she was talking with her friend about how she wanted to have a boyfriend. Her friend suggested she went out with me (I don't know if it was sarcastic or not, but it sure seemed like it was) and me and her met eyes for a second, and then she jumped to saying "No!" and she came up with some of the worst excuses possible. It was actually kind of funny. But I digress again, whenever she went to me for advice I pointed out other people. I feel like I wouldn't be able to make her happy, so I ignore my feelings for her happiness. I talked with my friend (the one who went out with her, he's the only one who knows about my feelings for her) on the bus ride home and he criticized my lack of doing anything about my feelings for her that day, and he even told me that I wouldn't get a better chance. But I realized I didn't want my own happiness, I wanted her to be happy. Why is this? If you actually read through that, thanks! :D

This is most certainly animal cruelty. As others mentioned please call the aspca. You dont have to give a name. Just give them the address and tell them the whole story. Also check animal control. Ours is located in our police station. They will receive a hefty fine and hopefully this will deter them from taking in any more poor little cats.
