Sharon Newman arghhh?

I used to like this character but over the past few years I now cannot stand her. Her needy sucky behaviour. Am I the only one, because I wonder how she is still on the show, and with the current storyline of her living in a barn with hay and sheep is it really worth keeping her on and shooting scenes. I mean if they really wanted to bring her back they could in the future and develop the "where she's been at story" at that point. Or is there such demand for her character?
